Ok, so this blog is a tad late but we have a very good reason which will be revealed later. Anyway, we’ve finally got around to blogging the amazing wedding of the lovely Natalie and Howard at Chevin Country Park Hotel in Otley.
It was due to be another very changeable day weather-wise but that did nothing to dampen any of our spirits. So, as usual, Pete started off with Natalie and I went over to meet up with the lads.
Anyway here are a few of our favourites from the day…

All the girls getting ready…
Absolutely gorgeous bouquets from Leafy Couture
Here’s the woman of the moment looking beautiful and ready to go.
As British wedding photographer’s we are always prepared and carry several large umbrellas with us at all times and I think this photo of dad sheltering daughter whilst on the way to the car is really lovely. So rain isn’t always a bad thing on your wedding day!
Meanwhile, Kelly was with the boys taking photos of ‘cravat confusion’.
The rings made by Craven Jewellers in Yeadon. If you want your rings hand-made then Natalie and Howard recommend these guys completely.
Natalie had left a card for Howard with cryptic clues as to where she had hidden a gift for him. After several minutes of searching Howard found this… which turned out to be a really gorgeous watch. Nice work Natalie!
Off to the pub for a quick tipple before the cermony? It would be rude not to.
The staff at The Crescent Inn were absolutely lovely – even offering two ‘dummy’ pints of beer for me to take photos of instead of the guys having to wait!
Off to the church.
Absolutely love this one. The vicar knows Natalie and Howard and it shows in how genuinely happy he is to have married them.
Natalie and Howard’s daughter Emelia starts the congregation off in a song. If you look carefully you can see that Howard was desperatley trying to hold it together. Aaaaaahhhhhh.
It was still a tad damp outside so the very accomodating vicar said we could do all the family group shots inside. Kelly also got to use the microphone to direct which she quite enjoyed.
However, it cleared up nicely in time for the Bridal Party shots and the couple shots – yay!
The Speeches (and some amazing chairs)!
The girls show the grown-ups how to ‘Gangnam Style’ properly…
Natalie and Howard had learnt a choreographed first dance which went down brilliantly with their guests!
We had a great day with Natalie and Howard – they are a lovely couple who will have many more great years together. We hope you enjoy your honeymoon in Majorca – may you have many days of sunshine and not be too depressed when you get back here!
