Peter Boyd Photo Blog bio picture

Hello and welcome

I'm a photographer based in Yorkshire who specialises in wedding,
portrait and headshot photography. I also undertake commercial
commissions, including interior photography, theatre productions and
event coverage.

I am married to Kelly, my long suffering wife, and we live in Huddersfield with our cat, Simon.

I've always had a passion for photography, from watching my grandad
repair old cameras in his spare room to looking through the press
photography of my godfather.

I endeavour to create detailed, stunning and memorable images and my mantra is simple:- there's beauty in everything!

So, sit back with a cuppa and have a browse through my blog. Comments
are always welcome, so don't be shy (Although I will delete anything
that is abusive or makes fun of my hair!)

Enjoy...

Christina & Chris’ Riccall Wedding

Continuing the round up of the tale end of 2014, we present to you the highlights of Christina & Chris’ wedding. We first met these two at a wedding fayre at the National Railway Museum – which was apt, as that’s where Chris popped the big question – and we instantly clicked through our shared love of all things geeky and sci-fi. By her own admission, Christina had already ‘stalked’ our work online and had a good idea of what to expect before even reaching our display stand.

Anyway, back to the big day. The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Church in Riccall, with the reception being held at The Regen Centre (also in Riccall).

As a total surprise for Christina & Chris, Christina’s grandfather nipped off after the ceremony only to pop back in his vintage Fokker DR1 (I think) for an impromptu fly-by…

Well I don’t know when we’ll next get an exclusive tri-plane air display at a wedding, but one can only hope! Thanks Christina & Chris for a lovely day – we wish you every happiness for the future.
