Peter Boyd Photo Blog bio picture

Hello and welcome

I'm a photographer based in Yorkshire who specialises in wedding,
portrait and headshot photography. I also undertake commercial
commissions, including interior photography, theatre productions and
event coverage.

I am married to Kelly, my long suffering wife, and we live in Huddersfield with our cat, Simon.

I've always had a passion for photography, from watching my grandad
repair old cameras in his spare room to looking through the press
photography of my godfather.

I endeavour to create detailed, stunning and memorable images and my mantra is simple:- there's beauty in everything!

So, sit back with a cuppa and have a browse through my blog. Comments
are always welcome, so don't be shy (Although I will delete anything
that is abusive or makes fun of my hair!)

PR Shoot for Cravendale – Headingley Stadium

It’s high time to caught this blog up on what I’ve been doing over the last few weeks. About a month ago I was contacted by another photographer friend to ask if I was available to shoot a job for one of his usual clients, as he was already booked. It just so happened I was, so off I went to Headingley Stadium in Leeds on the evening of a Rhinos game.

The brief from the PR company was fairly simple:

Cravendale are launching a new product and would like some typical PR shots of fans with the product.

Funny how the simplest of briefs can sometimes prove to be the most challenging! The difficulty here was actually persuading fans and families to stop and have their photo taken whilst holding bottles of milk. For the most part people were fairly co-operative and I managed to come away with a decent mix of photos from both the entrance area and the stands.

Here’s a few from the day…
